An example of the angle rule with Giotto

The painter Florentin GIOTTO was also a sculptor and architect. He knew geometry and angles.

In his work The Stigmata of St. Francis (Louvre), he declines the series of preferential angles of painters directly legibly using the rays painted in gold.

Note that each of the angles points with its two branches the points of the 1st rule: the stigmata but also the mouth and toe of de St François.
